“Based on a true story” movies are a hard subject.
Simply put: Go see this movie.
The thriller part is amazing, but if there aren’t characters to care about, what’s the point?
Is it a brilliant bit of filmmaking that will set the world on fire? Nope. Is it a commentary on art and how we need to just make our art and care less about what people think? Yes. Is it fun? Decidedly so.
Naturally, Packouz thinks it would be a good idea to get involved with him, and together the two start selling weapons to the U.S. Government.
Hijinks ensue.
